Are you desperate to try out Dylan’s restaurants, but can’t get a booking? You’re not the only one! In 2019, Dylan’s served a staggering 330,000 customers, and was completely booked during the holiday season. At the peak of the season, the restaurants were turning away 1,000 people a day. However, Dylan’s has come up with a clever solution to serve those of you who can’t make it to their restaurant - their Dine At Home range!
Founded in 2012, Dylan’s mission is to celebrate the local produce, character and natural beauty of North Wales. Dylan’s has three critically acclaimed waterfront restaurants in Menai Bridge, Criccieth and Llandudno, with spectacular views and incredible meals using locally sourced, seasonal produce. The menu includes some of the very best seafood sourced directly from the Strait such as their world famous Menai mussels, lobster and Anglesey sea bass.
In 2016 Dylan’s invested in a Prep-Kitchen and Head Office facility, to help take pressure off their chefs in the restaurants. Fresh produce arriving at the hub could be distributed to the restaurant after being prepared, providing the kitchen team with more social working hours. The hub proved vital during the events of the COVID-19 pandemic, providing a platform for development and a move into retail whilst all the restaurants were closed. With the pandemic highlighting the vulnerability of the restaurant model, Dylan’s looked to elevate the business, turning their attention to producing thousands of ready meals and distributing them to vulnerable people across North Wales. This further sparked the idea of an at home range, offering the best of the restaurant, to be enjoyed during lockdown. The restaurant reported a huge demand for it’s at home products and has continued to expand and offer the at home range via store pick up or online.
Made with the freshest ingredients and prepared with pride by Dyaln’s chefs, you can choose from a wide range of starters, mains and desserts! Key dishes in the Dine At Home range include Dylan’s Fish Pie, Dylan’s Chicken in a Basket, Dylan's Welsh Lamb Hotpot and Dylan’s Cauliflower Mac n Cheese, all of which are the most popular dishes in the restaurants. For dessert, dishes include Dylan’s Sticky Toffee Pudding, Dylan’s Bara Brith Bread & Butter and Dylan’s Bakewell Tart. Following the initial success of the Dine at Home range, Dylan’s has looked to expand it further, introducing a series of new starters and sides. The new additions include Penderyn BBQ Chicken Wings, Crab Arancini, Dylan’s Croquetas, Vegetable Medley and Dylan’s Chips. All of these Dine At Home meals are ready to heat up and enjoy at home, serving two portions.
Dylan’s is now looking to take its Dine At Home range further, with the ambition to secure listings with major retailers across the UK, expanding its reach geographically to reach new customers.
Dylan’s Dine At Home range will soon be available to order online at https://dylansrestaurant.co.uk/shop/ for nationwide delivery. Dylan’s also offers a range of sauces (sweet or savoury), oils and chutneys.
